Neighbor girls

Playing in the big pool in the back yard is okay...But add friends and it's so much better!

And funny how they migrate to the little pool in the front.

Sweet baby sister.

Finally, Lila is brave enough for the slip n slide. She is covered in bruises and can't get enough, lol.

Lila is 7 1/2 today!

Lila's birthday is less than 2 weeks after Christmas. It's overwhelming, I think, to get everything at once then have to wait a whole year. So, today after VBS we went to DQ and Lila picked out a large brownie batter blizzard. She was tickled telling people that she's 7 1/2 today. The kids have never told their ages is 1/2's before. Pretty cute!

Fabulous 4th!

We started off our day at the water park down the street.

Daddy and Lila going through the water tunnel. I know it's called a lazy river, but Evan??? The epitome of lazy looking!

Daddy down the water slide, woo hoo!

Evan drying off, before i poured ice water on him. Bad mom.
Then, the kids and Timmy went to the P-D's annual extravaganza.

Uncle James & Gracie spending QT together. Grandpa & Grandma wait.

Lila watching the fireworks for the 1st time without being scared!
Count your blessings, America. And don't quit praying for our soldiers.

Oh, my husband makes me laugh!

So, there is an on going joke about Tim's mom, who likes to tell the same stories over and over. Or maybe has the same question. Well, every year Tim, emulating his mom, has the same reaction to the first berries picked from our garden...It's really funny too because we just sit there tight lipped waiting. Then, there it is:
Timmy: "Ah, raspberries...natures perfect fruit."
Probably not as funny to you reading, but very funny to us ! =)
We love you Daddy!!!
PS-We have picked 8 bowls of berries this summer and have more that are ready. I will have extra plants in the fall or spring if you have a very sunny spot for them.

Uncle David's surprise party

Our dear friend, David, turned 40 last week. We hid at his house while he was out to dinner with his wife and his parents. He didn't have a clue! It was so fun.

Surprise! Look how tickled his wife is in the background. Cute!

Lila making friends.

Poor girl, monkey in the middle with the boys, who loved antagonizing her. Fortunately, she knows how to handle that, (I wonder why?) =)
