Final score 12-1

Memorial day we went to the Rainier's game and had so much fun. It was really warm and just about the perfect day.

This is where we were sitting...up close to see all the action.

The end of the game was special. Tim told Evan to make a lot of noise, he did, and the outfielder threw the last ball of the game to him.

Serious stuff, you know.

This is the 2nd ball Evan has got at a Rainier's game. The first one he was in the 5th grade and caught a foul.
We are so blessed to live smack dab in the middle of a town with wonderful neighbors, an amazing zoo, baseball stadium, water park and wonderful churches that reach out to our community.

Bike ride somewhere past Yelm

Our friend, Jack, likes to not stay in town. He likes to drive his new truck to ridiculously far away places for a bike ride.

Here are the bikes and here is Aidan's super cool tricycle. Evan was stoked he got to ride it.

But, before that, he wanted you to know that he was almost car sick. Gross.

On the trail...

Snack time with pretzel fangs.

Here's the part of the trip where Evan quite dramatically "cries" because his bike broke. The winner of the Academy Award is...

Here's what happens when boys find ant hills. Creepy!

You know how I like a bargain!

I went to Old Navy to get Lila a tankini...that's it. Money is tight, so focus! Straight to the swimsuit area ONLY! Ooooh, wait one minute. 50% off the last marked clearance price? What!? Lila doesn't fit any of last year's summer clothes, you say? Hmmm...
Okay, okay I'll just look a little. What to my wondering eyes should appear?

Oh, yes...bargains galore! 9 things total-original price? $133.00
What did I pay? $37.00 for a grand savings of $96.00!

The tankikni.

3 rockin' girlie shirts.

Gorgeous brown floral dress.

School shirt and pink tank.

.
This is my absolute favorite! A navy coat regularly $26.50 for $3.50! I love the fuchsia stitching.
Anyways, I was very excited about this and had to share.

'Taste of Asia' dinner and auction

One of the many fundraisers for Evan's mission trip was an Asian inspired dinner and auction. We had so much fun last Friday night.

Timmyson eating many pot stickers.

Evanson"male model" waiter extraordinaire.

Tim's folks went home with a few nice items. We won guitar lessons for Evan. (See how I used my chopsticks? That's right...hair accessories!)
The final dollar amount? Around $5000.00!!! Way to go Krissie Willows!

At our house!

The whole Miller side of the family was in California last week, so we were unable to celebrate Mother's Day. Mark arranged for us all to get together the following Sunday. I volunteered our home since most gatherings don't take place here, do the smaller size of the inside. It's hard to accommodate our large family. But, since the sun was shining, I had the perfect opportunity to have everyone at our place inside and out.

The little ones enjoying the trampoline. Auntie Gwen and Abby.

The P-D's got Gwen and I oven mitts from Disneyland. Too cute!
This is a neat picture. The first born boys from each family. (Good job Timmy)

Girls day out! (Girls only)

Since Grandma Ina had to work on Mother's Day, we decided to spend the day with her on Saturday. We picked her up in the morning. Lila likes to stop by the Lakewood city hall when we're in town because she loves the water feature seen here.

We did some shopping then went to the Puyallup farmer's market. They have a beautiful library and Lila enjoys the bench out front.

There's a big tree stump that has a seat and a big book carved out of it. Lila is showing off our golden pear tomato plant we purchased.

After the market and snow cones, we went to the Olive Garden for lunch, and the South Hill mall. (The latter part was boring.)

We came home and made Ina dinner and a special dessert. Someone was too excited for the dessert...
Timmy!
After dinner it was Starbucks and Scrabble! I whooped Grandma. Probably should have let her win, since it was her day and all ;)

Library and Jewelry

While Daddy needed some quiet time to fill out his transfer papers to UWT, Gracie and I went to the library to check out some "fresh" books and make a necklace with her jewelry making kit she got for Christmas. She found an old charm in my jewelry box that is a picture of Evan when he was 3 and Tim's youngest brother Daniel. She put Evan's name on one side and Uncle D.'s on the other.

Here's the outcome. Very sweet. Oh, did I mention while holding it up to her to see if it was long enough I dropped it?!? She told me I had to put all the beads that fell on the floor back on because she was too tired and it was my fault. Well...it was and I did. =)

Extreme close up!

Abby and Lila

A couple weekends ago my in-laws were out of town and I went to clean up their gardens. While I was doing that Timmy took Lila and her cousin Abby, who lives right by Grandma and Grandpa's house, out to enjoy the sunny day.

Abby made a huge hopscotch. I love Lila's squat!

Then it was scootin' time.

I love this picture it's been up on my desk top since we got it.
They had fun together. We sure are blessed by these little girls!
